We are currently not able to seat parties larger than 8. Our seating policy has been limited for social distancing measures.Consult your physician or public health officer for further information. * Consuming raw or undercooked animal foods may increase your risk of a foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.I would go to the Funky Biscuit any time for a drink or food or music or all three a great place. The best part of the experience was we were able to help the Kids in Distress foundation. She chose a small salad as the side dish and it quite large she asked me to help her eat it, it was so big. My wife had the Dolphin sandwich grilled Mahi Mahi she said it was excellent and the piece of fish was substantial. The hamburger was very large and excellent and cooked just as ordered. I order the B3 burger a cheeseburger with a side of coleslaw. Service through out our stay was prompt and efficient. The location was perfect for viewing the band stage over the heads of the crowd in front of us and far enough from the speakers no to be overwhelmed by the sound of the bands. Our table was in the back of the dining area on an elevated level. The place was quite crowded when we arrived we paid a $20.00 each entry fee and were escorted to a table immediately. This fund raiser has been held for quite a few years now and we have attended many times. We attended the the 34th Annual Joe Conti Kids In Distress fundraiser on Feb 29 held at the Funky Biscuit. After 10 years I'm "one more in the crowd", hopefully one day I'll be a regular and noticed as such at The Funky Biscuit. I'm not a fan of paying corkage fees, especially if I uncork my own bottle and serve it myself. Next time I would love to go there and spend my money purchasing Funky Biscuit's food and giving the server a hefty tip. That's why a large percentage of the country is already vaccinated and protected, seeing people laughing, dancing and enjoying life was the highlight of the night. The show started around 9:10 and it was a blast, the sound was great, lighting very good and the energy of Eric Darius super contagious! The house was packed with people maskless, might I add, which to me is a BLESSING. Going back to the Funky, we arrived around 8:30, we were guided to our table by one of the managers, she was attentive, our server Jacob was super fast, we got water without asking for it within minutes, and he was on top of all his tables the whole night. We both are wine collectors and I got the corkage fee waived in Louie Bossi's, so it's a win-win for us and the restaurant since our bills are always $200+ and we add the "corkage" into the server's tip. We went to Louie Bossi's Ristorante with a good friend and his wife that live in Boca for a wine-dinner. This time we changed our routine completely. We have always come for the early show and eaten here, their menu is not fancy but we always find a couple of appetizers, then I normally get the Mahi-mahi and we finish with their famous Funky-Biscuit as desert. Over the years the lighting and sound have improved big time, the service has fluctuated significantly, prior-COVID it was a team and after-COVID they are still finding the right-TEAM. As I mentioned in my previous review, I have been coming to The Funky Biscuit for over 10 years, at least 2 times every year and I don't do it more often because I live in Miami and it requires a 2+ hours drive and a hotel stay.
